Who we are:

Crista and I have alway’s had a interest in remodeling and working on houses.   Our first house was a two bedroom, one bath,  yellow ranch home.  This house  will alway’s hold a special place in our heart, because it  is where we spent our first year or so of married life.  It was at  this home that I  decided to tile the bathroom.  I had never tiled before.  I assured Crista, there is nothing to tiling.   When I started to take out the toilet, Crista began to question whether it was a good idea to tile or not.  “Honey, It will look like a brand new bathroom this time tomorrow.”  That was my intentions but the reality was, we were without a toilet for about four day’s.

A year or so later,  we sold our yellow ranch home and moved a few mile’s down the road.  We bought a yellow Cape Cod with a unfinished upstairs.    We were excited about the challenge of  finishing the upstairs.   It took us a few years, but with the help of my dad and father-in-law, we turned 900 SF of unfinished space into a office, bedroom, bonus and bathroom.  We did not realize shortly, we would be tackling our biggest home project ever.

In 2008, we had the opportunity to purchase four acres and build.  We sat on the land for a while, because we were not sure if we wanted to build.   We were happy where we were living at and not sure if we were ready to tackle such a large project.  So, we prayed about it and felt for this season of our life, that it was the right thing to do.    We finished our home in 2010 and have embarked on a journey to help others build their own home.

Go build,

Michael
