Monday was a very exciting day! The footer was completed and the concrete was poured. When I arrived “in the field,” it was almost dark. The concrete truck was there and they were pouring the concrete. My neighbor was kind enough to come and help them (I hope his labor cost is cheap). I started to wonder how much concrete we were going to use, after the third concrete truck pulled up. I was guessing that a truck held about 20 yards of concrete. Luckily, I was wrong, they only hold about 10 yards. We ran out of concrete on the very last pier. Thankfully, they were able to make it work.
